'A literal angel': BTS' Jungkook wins hearts with generous donation to Seoul National University Children's Hospital

BTS' Jungkook has once again turned the spotlight away from himself and toward children who need support. The singer has made a major contribution to a Seoul hospital, offering help to young patients and their families during some of their most difficult moments.

The donation comes as Jungkook continues a particularly busy period with BTS, but it is his latest act of generosity that has caught fans' attention.


Seoul National University Children's Hospital has announced that Jungkook donated ₩1 billion (approximately US$760,000) to the institution.

The substantial contribution will help pediatric patients from low-income families receive medical treatment while also supporting the hospital's Integrated Care Center project.

That contribution was also directed toward medical treatment for pediatric patients from low-income families, while helping with the Integrated Care Center project.

The donation comes while Jungkook is in the middle of BTS’ massive ARIRANG World Tour. The group recently completed the North American leg of the tour in Los Angeles and is now preparing to head to South America.

Bogotá, Colombia, is the next stop on the schedule and will mark the beginning of the South American leg. BTS will then continue to other cities across the region, with the tour marking the group's first full-group visits to South America.

Amid the packed schedule, Jungkook's latest donation has given fans another reason to celebrate the singer — this time for a gesture that could have a lasting impact on children and their families.
