Did the incident actually happen in New York?

According to Prime Timer, contrary to the viral claim, the New York Post's original post never stated that the incident occurred in NYC. The publication reported that the woman in the footage fell into a manhole in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The victim was identified as 32-year-old Fabiana Rosa. Surveillance footage showed nearby pedestrians and a motorcycle taxi driver who had just dropped her off rushing to assist after the fall. Emergency responders later pulled Rosa from the manhole.

As per the post, the viral video has nothing to do with New York, but a similar incident happened in Manhattan in May.
